The very first step in getting an EWB Chapter started is to fill out a Start a Chapter Form. You will be prompted to book a time for an introductory call with the Community Team, where we will determine how prepared you are for taking the next steps on your campus.
Generally, the Chapter development process looks like this:
INITIAL ASSESSMENT

Context Assessment - to gain an understanding of the context in which the potential chapter would operate

Leadership Assessment - to learn more about the potential leaders of the chapter and their skills, knowledge and motivation
EVALUATION

Demonstration of ongoing national and regional participation

Minimum 1 year of operation

Demonstrated sustainable leadership and chapter operations

Consistent impact reporting and fundraising

Growth of chapter membership
