It is in this premise that the Canada-Africa Innovation Fellowship 2022 will focus on building the entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership skills of undergraduate and recently-graduated Canadians, Ugandans and Ghanians, while providing them with a platform to ask tough questions and develop green and renewable solutions to mitigate the impact of climate change on underserved communities in sub-Saharan Africa, Canada, and beyond. 

 

From May to August 2022, up to 40 Innovation Fellows will work in international teams to learn, innovate and develop tangible and viable solutions to this important global challenge. Fellows will receive training and mentorship from industry experts, as well as coaching to develop and take their ideas to market as social enterprises.
